Bishop Luers Wins 2A State Title, makes history!

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Bishop Luers baseball game game squad had a day of the month with fate today and in the end, the Knights made history capturing the 2A baseball title, 14-8 over Elwood at Victory Field in Indianapolis.

Bishop Luers goes the first school in Hoosier State high school athletics history to win the football, male children basketball, and baseball game statute titles all in the same year.

It was a 4-3 Bishop Luers Pb in the 4th when they exploded for 10 tallies in the adjacent two innings putting the game out of reach.

Bishop Luers High School will be hosting a Recognition Assembly for the Baseball Team on Sunday, June 15, 2008. The Assembly will take topographic point in Luers' Gymnasium at 7:00pm. All are welcome to compliment the team.
