Ex-Richmond basketball star leaves Indiana

Freshman centre Eli Holman, a former Bay Area homework basketball game star, was granted his release from Hoosier State University Friday morning.

"It's a relief," Holman told the History in a telephone interview Friday morning. "I have got nil but positive things to state about Indiana, but I just experience that its right thing to do."

Holman was not arrested, and no complaints were filed.

The 6-foot-9 Holman, who averaged 1.0 points and 1.7 recoils with the Hoosiers, played in lone six games after injuring his left wrist. Harvey named men's basketball coach at TSU
