A-Rod Replacing Jeter at Shortstop for Yankees?

Derek Jeter is sidelined by injury, and Alex Rodriguez may be jumping over to play Shortstop. Jeter will always be Yankees, but A-Rod desires to be Yankees too.

Alex Rodriguez pickings over for Derek Jeter perhaps at Shortstop, in and of itself, is no large deal. Jeter will mend up, and be back at his rightful place soon enough. However, there is an eery symbolism to it all.

Alex Rodriguez will never be a true Yankee, especially in the bosom of Yankees fans. It is something that Rodriguez misses, like a World Series ring, or anything else worthwhile that his mammoth contract cannot buy.

Alex Rodriguez desires to be The Man, and if stats speak, he is. But I am sure, deep in his heart, A-Rod desires what Derek Jeter has, namely, the regard of the Yankees faithful, and a smattering of title rings. A-Rod have the money and the stats, but not what existent gamers value.

Jeter too have the money, and great stats to travel along with the cash. Real Number stats. World Series most valuable player stats. Jeter, big-game hunting in more than pressure level states of affairs than anyone maybe in the past 40 old age in MLB. For a comparison, you may have got to look outside of baseball, to Michael Jordan, to happen person who enjoys the challenge of the large phase like Jeter.

A-Rod may steal over to his left and 10 stairway back on the Yankees defense, over to where Derek Jeter have been patrolling things for the Yankees since the mid-90's. A few feet over, but a human race away in how he, A-Rod, and Derek Jeter are known, and how they will be remembered.
