How make you state if a batter is creating the right energy and motion at bat? One simple manner (there are obviously more than technical ways) is to detect where most of the balls are traveling while hitting a baseball. If a batter is directing balls into the spreads (regardless if they are land balls or wing balls) he's on the right track.
